There's certainly no shortage of interest in the Samsung Galaxy S4, with a 30 per cent uptick in searches for the forthcoming flagship handset meaning that a quarter of all UK web searches for mobile phones were for Samsung products.
However, Experian Hitwise shared data with TechRadar that shows that the S4 is the second most searched for phone, after the iPhone.
Now, obviously the term iPhone represents more than one handset, so we'd imagine that the S4 will be claiming a win there anyway. In fact 9.2 per cent of searches for mobile phones were for the Galaxy S4, and that consolidated Samsung's place at the top of the phone search tree.

James Murray, Digital Insight Manager for Experian Marketing Services told TechRadar in an email that interest in the phone was at fever pitch: "In the last week searches for the S4 have increased by 30% to become the second most searched for smartphone in the UK."
"At the moment, most people are interested in when the phone will be available and what it looks like, with searches including words like 'release' and 'pictures'," he said. "Once the phone has been launched we would expect searches to switch to reviews and price and then finally to accessories to buy with the phone."
"The S4 has consolidated Samsung's place as the most searched for mobile brand online, accounting for 25% of all searches for smartphones in the last week."
With all this hype, the pressure is on for Samsung and the S4, but can it live up to it? We'll find out tonight at the NY Unpacked event - which you can follow here on TechRadar or join us on Twitter.
