evasi0n's iOS 6 jailbreak was one of the most popular tools to gain more control over your iDevices. However, Apple patched all the exploits that were used by evasi0n through its regular software updates.

Now, evad3rs has released a new version of evasi0n, which can jailbreak your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models that are running on iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4.

The new version is currently compatible with Mac OS X or Windows OS and can be downloaded from the source link below. The process of jailbreaking is straightforward, but keep in mind that you might brick your device if you do not follow the instructions carefully. Nokia wins an injunction against HTC in Germany

HTC has managed to get itself in more legal trouble. According to the news coming from Germany, the Nokia has managed to get an injunction against HTC for infringing upon one of its key patents, which affects all HTC Android devices. This means that Nokia can now get all HTC Android devices banned in Germany.

The patent involves USB and the way the PC chooses the appropriate driver when you connect the device to it. To avoid the ban, HTC will have to either modify the method it uses to avoid using Nokia's patented technology or strike a licensing agreement with Nokia.

This patent is possibly used by all Android OEMs, so Nokia could easily go after all the others after this victory, although they haven't announced anything as such as of now. Regarding the victory against HTC, Nokia had the following to say:

"Nokia is pleased that the Regional Court in Munich, Germany has today ruled that a number of HTC products infringe Nokia’s patent EP 1 246 071, which covers USB functionality in mobile phones.

Today's judgment is another significant milestone in our on-going dispute with HTC, enabling Nokia to enforce an injunction against the import and sale of all infringing HTC products in Germany, as well as to obtain damages for past infringement. This patent is also already in suit against HTC in the UK.

Nokia began its actions against HTC in 2012, with the aim of ending HTC’s unauthorized use of Nokia’s proprietary innovations and has asserted more than 50 patents against HTC in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, UK and US. During 2013, HTC has been found to infringe Nokia patents in venues including the Regional Courts in Mannheim and Munich, Germany, the UK High Court and the US International Trade Commission."

HTC will need to act fast or risk losing all business in Germany during the holiday season.

HTC quietly announces Desire 400 dual-SIM with 4.3" screen

HTC has quietly listed the Desire 400 dual SIM smartphone on a couple of its regional websites. The thing is the different sites have different versions of the specs of the smartphone.

According to the Russian site the Desire 400 dual-SIM sports a 4.3" display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. HTC's newest addition is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone also features an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.6 megapixel front facing shooter and 4 GB of in-built memory with the ability to expand it via microSD slot.

Meanwhile, according to the Ukrainian HTC website listing, the device comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera and a dual-core CPU. The dimensions also differ slightly.

Both sites agree that the HTC Desire 400 dual SIM comes with the usual set connectivity options and packs home-backed customizations such as Sense UI and BlinkFeed. There is a 1,800mAh battery providing the juice for the smartphone, which according to the company lasts for about 12 hours on 3G talk time.

Unfortunately, there is no word on the pricing of the Desire 400 dual-SIM, but we know that the smartphone will go on sale in three different colors.

Target promo drops iPhone 5s and 5c prices by $50

Target is running a promo for the Apple iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c until December 24. The first generation iPad Mini along with the latest iPad Air are also getting discounts for last minute Christmas shoppers.

The first part of the promo is only valid today and lets you grab the iPhone 5s for $149.99 on a contract, while the iPhone 5c costs you $50 and you will also get a $50 Target gift card. This means that the plastic iPhone comes to almost free.. If you don't count the two year contract, that is.

Target's second set of sales runs until Christmas eve and will see the iPhone 5c selling at $30 with a gift card worth the same amount. The pricing of the iPhone 5s is a bit higher than the current sale and if you plan to buy the device from December 22 to December 24 you should pay $179.99, but also get a $25 gift card.

Apple iPad Air is priced at $479 with a bonus $20 gift card. Lastly, if you are interested in the first generation iPad Mini then you would have to shell out $299.

Google's perennial attempts to turn Google Play Music into a force against iTunes have been boosted by the arrival of 'I'm Feeling Lucky Radio' within the company's iOS app.

The random radio feature comes to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch two months after it was rolled into the Android version, while an iOS 7-inspired UI has also been introduced.

The feature, like its search engine forebear, allows users to access a selection of music the app thinks they will like, auto-generating a radio station based on previous listening habits.

The app will automatically bring tunes form the users most-listened to genre.

The revamped iOS app also access offers auto-generated playlists (such as Thumbs Up) for the first time and All Access subscribers will also have the opportunity to search genres within the app.

The revamped app comes into competition with Apple's own iTunes Radio platform, which is yet to outside the United States.
