Sony has started selling the Xperia Z1 Compact in a couple of new major European countries after the debut in Sweden. In Germany, Amazon sells the miniature flagship for 499 for all color variants of the phone (black, yellow, pink and white). The phone is also available at a number of other German phone retailers for prices starting at 489.
That's 30 less than the price at which the phone made its entrance in Sweden almost a week ago.
In the UK, the Xperia Z1 Compact is available for purchase directly from Sony's website. The unlocked version costs £449. Many other UK retailers are expected to have the phone in stock around mid-February.
If you happen to be an O2 customer, you might want to learn about its offers. The pay-as-you-go price is £479.99, which is higher than elsewhere, but you can opt for a 2-year contract and get it for free. As long as you are willing to get a service plan worth £37/month or more, that is.
