A 7 Android tablet from Huawei was certified by Tenaa (Chinas equivalent of the FCC). The tablet is called Huawei MediaPad X1 (7D-501u).
Its more compact and lighter than the Nexus 7 (2013) and has a similar 7 TFT screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution. It measures 183.5 x 103.9 x 7.5mm and weighs 239g.
The MediaPad X1 is powered by the Hisilicon 910 Kirin chipset like the one in the Ascend P6S, which has a quad-core Cortex-A9 processor at 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM and a brand new Adreno 450 GPU. The tablet runs a relatively old Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
It features tri-band 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Theres also a USB port and HDMI out. The built-in memory is expandable via microSD cards.
The Huawei MediaPad X1 features a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 5MP back camera with 1080p video capture.
It's yet to be unveiled officially, so there's no info on launch date or pricing for the MediaPad X1.
